Today, as never before, we must preach the Word, not hit

around it, not pull from it, not launch off it, but preach

the Word; it alone will break up the fallow ground of the

sin sick heart.

 

God's Word is Alive and Powerful.

("Hebrews 4:12  For the word of God is quick, and powerful,

and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.")

 

My words? No, THE WORD OF GOD.

 

God's Word is Effective and Productive.

("Isaiah 55:11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of

my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.")

 

My words? No, THE WORD OF GOD.

 

God's Word is Revealing and Guiding.

("Psalms 119:105  Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a

light unto my path.")

 

My words? No, THE WORD OF GOD.

 

God's Word is Pure and Available for us Today!

("Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as

silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.")

 

Praise God that we still have his Word, for without it we

are surely lost.
